Thanks Kramer, now look at what we have to deal with….

Look out people in Waukesha counties 24th district. Joe A Vitale may be your next rep. For a hint at where he stands, check out today’s “your views” section in the Freeman. Hay Joe, as for your “points”….
1 - We have paid, are paying, and will continue to pay. It’s called “Taxes”. DUH!
2 - I’m all for supporting our “future”, just not the teacher’s union’s pocket books. And by your logic, if you support the troops in Iraq, you're also against what congress is trying to do by cutting the funding, and you support the Pres 100%. (burn!)
3 - How much of this is due to the folks at the “Tax Payers Alliance Against Everything”? BOO-YAH!
4 - I’m all for paying for my kids future, just not the teachers benefit package.
5 - If you’re “concerned”, does that make you right?
6 - what’s your reference?
7 - “Tax Payers Alliance Against Everything”, sounds cool, where do I join?
8 - This is why every seat counts, in every election.
9 - Well, there is no point 9, I’m just on a roll.

Does “smoking Joe” blog?

Antiprotest?

Just when I'm beginning to think that Americans just don't understand what it means for a country to be at war, some Jarhead shows me that yes, a few Americans do care. You want to tell Hanoi Jane and her socialist comrads to take a hike? Send a little love to the troops. Semper Fi to Jarhead's Firing Range for the link toLubbock Marine Parents.

Do you hear something?

What was that? Did you hear something? Is that thunder in the distance, maybe tanks on the move? Whatever it is, big spending Liberals won’t like it! Look out for an upcoming “piece” in the Freeman (?), written by the Taxpayers League chieftain, Lufter. I don’t know when, I don’t know how, (I’m not that connected) but I do know why. Cause our stinken taxes are too stinken high, that’s why!

Halloween Peppers?

One of my Kiddos decides to carve a face into one of the peppers I’m getting ready to stuff. No dear, no need this time, the garlic alone will keep the Vampires away for now, yeesh.

His first Government credit card?

Mayor Urkels return from Washington reminds me of those stolen credit card commercials where the teen says “I don’t care what it costs, it’s not like I’m paying for it” (or something like that). He’s got plenty of ideas and plenty of Gov. grant money to cover them. Great.

Big vote, does anyone care?

I wonder if anyone cares about an upcoming vote at the county board on consolidating some of the meetings. I do, but since Waukesha can no longer be called a Conservative Juggernaut will there be any outcry of this whole “efficiency” thang goes nowhere? For my part, I say ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!!!!

Darryl E on fire!

Is it just me or has Mr. E been on fire lately?

Big-K soon kia?

Darryl E announces the possibility of Walmart buying some land for another store at the corner of 164 and West ave. That'll put the Big-K on the big chopping block, and no amount of advertising will help.

Pinko protesters

I fully support every dumba** morons right to protest "the war". I also expect these same dumba** morons to accept the consequences of their actions. What ticked me off this weekend was Hanoi Janes' claim that she was vilified for her "speaking her mind"years ago. No you socialist pinko moron, you were being held accountable for the aid and comfort you gave the enemy during the Vietnam war. We gave ourselves for your right to protest, so protest away, fool. Cross the line and aid the enemy, and pay the consequences you moron.

Big K?

How soon before the K-mart on sunset closes? It's been years since any major traffic has been seen there. I think the key to a turnaround is advertising. Or is it too late?

The next prez?

I do not believe that our next President has made himself known just yet. He may by out there already, he just hasn't caught the medias eye. Good for him. Let the present bunch of fools cut each other up, than slide in for the kill.

Apprenti

I'm rather disappointed with this season, for many reasons. I can't even seem to force myself to be interested.

Where are the crossing guards?

Has the city budget been so affected by the latest snow “storm” as to no longer have money to post crossing guards in even the most dangerous crossings? In between E College ave and Wright St, on N East Ave I’ve come across children ambling thru traffic, without a care. To and fro, back and forth. 50’ to the south is a traffic light, so the children can cross safely there. 20’ to the North is a “pedestrian crossing” sign. But for some reason the kids just walk into the street without concern for traffic or safety. Where are the crossing guards? Where are the police? Where’s the Mayor? What…..what…..WHAT!!!! Those are COLLEGE STUDENTS?!?!? CARROLL COLLEGE STUDENTS!?!?! Geez, the common sense courses must be “off campus”.

Folkbums list

1-The Desert Flip-Flopper
2-The Yankee Adulterer
3-The Mormon Flip-Flopper
4-The Southern Adulterer
5-Kansas's Second Least-Popular Senator
6-The Texas Libertarian
7-Tommy!
8-Duncan Hunter
According to Folkbums R&R this is the Republican field for the Presidency (aside from Huckabee)......pretty funny! I don't have much to say on national politics, but this is an interesting look into the other sides views.

Apprentice week 3

Didn't catch it this time, "bill night" - yippee. Actually, the 2 minutes I did see were pretty lame. Who was fired?

More on "the board"

If Mr. Dwyer wants to "restore" public faith in the county board, he should take the lead in Harandas attempts to make the board "more efficient". Revisit the "downsizing" thang. Make a real attempt to appear the "Conservative" leader. Stop acting like King Henry on his majestic throne and start acting like the "conservative" county board chairman of a "Conservative" county. Dang, I'm using the word conservative and its not even close to election time.

Kramers seat STILL open?

Darryl E reminds us (via Spring City) that Kramers 24th seat is still up for grabs. I wonder why? My guess is that everyone expects Doyle - I mean Dwyer to just appoint "his man" anyway so why apply? Do you have to be retired to be appointed to the board, or just a Doyle - I mean Dwyer boot lick? What do you think, shall Sancho run?

TROY BOY IS BACK!!!!

Spring City alerted me to signs of life at Rendezvouz with destiny. Good to see you again Troy.

"Sounds like Freedom"

Waukesha Winter Jamboree goes off with a bang, and I loved it! The fireworks show at South High were fantastic. We were able to get right under the blasts and the sounds reminded me of what an ol colonel told me after I complained about a bunch of f-16's hitting their afterburners right over us. He squinted his eyes, looked at me and said "sounds like freedom to me", than walked away.

Asian Badger says HI!

The Asian Badger sets out the welcome mat for ol Sancho, and I thank him. His welcome forces me to answer some questions. Yup, I am a former Jarhead. Yup, I am a male. (unless the post makes alot of sense, than more than likely "lady" had something to do with it) Yup my fonts too big. (but my eyes don't mind - and I hope yours don't either.) And yup, I don't seem to post much. Mostly because I have WAY more than 1.5 kids, and I have to fight them off for whatever "board time"I can get. So to all of you, welcome, forgive the spelling, and thank you for your time.

TC says Hi!

Okay, now I'm confused. The Thoughtful Conservative gave Fox head and myself a shout out yesterday, so it seems I actually have more than two readers!!!! Now what am I supposed to do? (By the way, thank you TC)

American Idol????

Lady wonders why I don't watch American Idol. Why should I, if I want to see someone make a fool of themselves every time they step up to the mike, all I have to do is look out for Slick Willy! (Yea, you know who I mean!)

Fox Head brewerys latest flaver!

Spring City welcomes Fox Head to "Sha Town" blogging, cool! I just wish some Socialist Pinko would climb on....are there any "pink" bloggers out their? Or am I going to have to settle for
New Berlins Gallagher?

Apprenti 2 (a bit late)

It's been two days so most of the episode is less than a memory, but I'll try. The wrong person was fired! The project manager of the losing team should have been the one to go. She allowed the "squeaky wheel" to not only "get the grease", but to throw it on everyone in the room.
What was done right?
- Not much outside of one team won.

What was done wrong?
- Just about everyone on the losing team let their fear of being labeled a “hater” cause them to lose.

Lessen for me?
- Don’t allow whining, obnoxious, load and proud subcontractors kill the job.

Okay, my apologies to the Mayor

It was unfair of me to compare Urkel to Gallaghar in the last post, at least Mayor Urkel has tact.

New Berlin Pinko can't stand the light.

New Berlins Gallagher, in typical Socialist fashion strikes at those who bring Truth to light. Funny how Liberals consider Truth spoken a personal attack. If you don't want to be called a land grabber, don't grab land. Sounds simple enough. Hay Matt, if he's pink, call him pink. And why the heck does this pinko remind me of our own Mayor Urkel?

Teen Center makes changes.....for the better?

Waukesha's teen center is changing its focus. I may sound good, but I'm not convinced. Apparently an "epiphany" is what they call it. I was just turned off by the article because of it's "risen from the muck" attitude. Maybe they should acknowledge their past with a little more respect. If the teens didn't feel comfortable going, there wouldn't be a teen center. My advice, (as if it mattered) just don't turn it into a "little church", you might wind up with only church kids, and no "sinners". I for one am not only glad, but proud that Jesus hung with the "bad ones". Well....maybe they'll at least change the answering machine message.

Heavy sigh.....

Well since no one else seems to have the stones to say it, Bush looked like a loser last night. I wasn't able to watch more than a few minutes of the speech, so I didn't catch much of what was said. What I saw, was a leader who's team had lost big. Yea, the Republicans lost big, now Bush has to pay. I still have yet to hear any of the Republican money machine admit any part in the last election fiasco, so I guess nothing was learned.

Conan "cuts spending"!

When Conan said he would cut spending, everyone thought he was going to cut government spending. What he was trying to say was that he was going to cut citizen spending (by having them pay for everyone's healthcare). Yea, that accent always messed me up too. Hey, I thought he was Republican? Must be one of them "New Republicans" huh? (I wonder why I haven't seen much of this on the blogs?)

"Interpolation"

What the snap is "Interpolation"? It's on my 4th graders math test, so I'll assume it has something to do with numbers. Geez am I feeling old again.

Sunday, January 07, 2007

For the record...

Thompson doesn't have a chanceto get to the White House, unless it's as Vice-Pres. He just doesn't have "the Look". Sad to say, in today's world, "the Look" means just as much as actual stands on issues.

"Tent City"

I've lived in a "Tent City", what Trump offers up is not "Tent City". Actually what he's giving the losing team is a great chance to get their act together, if they could just stop whining.

What was done right?
-Winning team put their back into menial tasks
-Everyone seemed to give 110%
What was done wrong?
-Losing team’s leader seamed to give no clear direction.
-Losing team’s leader wasn’t aware of “weak links”.
Lesson for me to learn:
-Be more than willing to push a broom, swing a sledge, or push a dump cart when needed.
-Don’t be too into the whole “Boss” thang.
-Be aware of all workers talents, and help them utilize them.
-If the boss puts me into “Tent City”, stop the whining, and start planning the next time.

If you haven't guessed, I'm a fan of apprentice, even though I think Trump is a dweeb. Maybe next week I'll remember the team names! (Some fan huh?)

Geez kid, give me a break!

South student stumps Slick with policy question. Cripes kid, he just started this gig, you can't expect him to know where he stands on an issue yet can you?

My fourth grade spelling champion

She's better than spell-check! (She helped me with the last post - I stink at spelling, just ask her.)

Look out “Mad Town”, here he comes!!!!

He’s made the call (finally), and he’s making his move. Hey Chris, I hear Doyle – I mean Dwyer needs a new thorn in his side!
