Thompson doesn't have a chanceto get to the White House, unless it's as Vice-Pres. He just doesn't have "the Look". Sad to say, in today's world, "the Look" means just as much as actual stands on issues.

He "looks" like he belongs in Madame Trusseau's...or however ya spell it. I have a picture of me with him and I swear he looks like a cardboard cut out, or a wax figure. Kind of eerie. :)
Yea, he does come across kind of "waxy".
