I noticed something....

On my way home from work lately, I've been noticing that the Goodwill parking lot generally has more cars than does the Kmart lot. Also noticed this morning that Aldis has more people in it (per square footage) as does the Pick and Save on sunset. (How long before another Aldis open up on the West side?) For some reason I don't think this bodes well for the school referendi coming up. I don't know why, I'm just sayin.

D E's FYI...FYI

Darryl E's got the updates again. Good news about the stop light at Hwy 59 and Center rd. About time, though it will slow down 59 a bit.

Como's dutiful pitch

I don't blame Joe Como for the pabulum in today's Freeman. After all, he was only doing what he was told. The editorial is just another piece of the Waukesha school boards game plan for the upcoming referendum. If you missed it, the start of this funding war was the teachers scaring the students with a "cut list", than tossing out the "R" word as a "possibility". Now comes the "this time it really is for the kids" shpeel (you've played your part well Mr. Como). Soon to appear, "teachers just can't survive with any less" boo hoo. This is why I have to stick by my last "dispatch". The school board has this one figured from start to finish. But keep in mind, battles never go as planned. What needs to happen is the focus needs to be moved from "the children", to the teachers union. If this happens, an uphill battle, we may win this one.

New Berlin Mud

I don’t pay much attention to politics (or much else) outside of Waukesha. Heck, I barely pay attention to Waukesha politics. But I feel a need to chime in on this Richter – Thomas – Gallagher feud in New Berlin. Matt should expect trash to be brought up. Gallagher should grow up, and Richter should just admit to being a dirty politics kind of guy. The meanness of this election (school board) shows just how important the participants believe it to be. And I still say Thomas is the best man for the job.

Ground Pounding buddies accross the pond

I haven't been able to watch "Parliament" for some time now, I'd love to see the show of support by British legislators for their troops and compare it to our group of politicians. I'm sure stand up support is shown by all parties, whether they support Blair or not. Maybe our clowns will get a clue. And if Iran doesn't turn over the British troops soon, Blair will go get them, and his detractors will stand behind him and their troops 100% Would we be able to say the same?

The i-Rack...

Gang Bangin at the Library

The article in yesterday’s Freeman covering the large fight in the Libraries parking lot bothered me three ways.

  • First, of course, is that there was a “rumble” at a place I regularly take my kids.
  • Two was that it happened in the same parking lot the Waukesha Police Substation uses and that did'nt slow the punks down. (The red house is the substation).
  • Three is the adults in the story making excuses for these punks. Not having a place to hang out is no excuse for starting a rumble. (does anyone use that word anymore?)
  • Four (yea, I know I said three ways) and most importantly the words “Police ran the names…but arrested none of them” Why the heck not?

You know your getting old...

When your daughter holds you close and says "dad, you used to be a hunk....what happened?" oy

Worm hole what?

Sorry. I tend to shoot first, explain myself later. A"worm hole dispatch" is a brief note (I only post the ones pertaining to the future) sent from myself to myself by means of a worm hole. Most worm holes are natural, there are a few manmade ones, but they tend to be sporadic and unpredictable. Everyone makes predictions, not everyone understands just where they "come from". These "predictions" are real, right, and are in fact history. My grandma says so.

Daylight Savings Time Wormhole Dispatch

Found this under my vans ignition coil...don’t ask. This is another manmade wormhole, so the timing’s a little “off”. Anyhoo-

  • Next 2 school referenda pass by large margin.
  • High School students believe lines fed them by school board and “protest” Tax Payers League.
  • Republican Presidential race falls to pieces, handing the election over to the Dems.
  • Scientist blame “problems” with earths crust on U.S....imagine that huh?
